Alex Martin grew up racing motocross literally in his own backyard, as his parents own the famed Spring Creek Motocross Park in Millville, Minnesota. Martin has a made for himself due to a tenacious work ethic, friendly demeanor, and never-say-die approach to racing. The 29-year-old has worked his way up from privateer to factory star over the course of his 12-year career. The JGRMX/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing Team is proud to be working with Martin for 2019 and beyond.

2018. In his second year with the TLD/KTM program, the #26 was injured during the 250 West Supercross series. He returned for the start of the Nationals, where he finished second at four Nationals and fought through adversity to finish second overall in the final points standings.
2017. As a member of the Troy Lee Designs/KTM team, Martin finished second at the 250 East Supercross round in Atlanta. Outdoors, he scored five podium finishes in a shortened season.
2016. Signed by Star Racing Yamaha, he rewarded the team with two National overall victories (Glen Helen and Washougal). Martin finished no worse than ninth overall in a National and placed second overall in the standings.
2015. In his final year with the Rock River Yamaha program, Martin had a breakout year. He scored two podium finishes and five top-five results on his way to sixth in the 250 East Supercross standings. Alex carried that success outdoors, placing second at the Budds Creek National. He finished seventh overall.
2014. Riding for the Rock River Yamaha team, Alex raced the 250 East Supercross series and earned multiple top-ten finishes. He went on to finish inside the top-ten at four of the 250 Nationals.
2013. As a member of the Eleven10 Mods/Rock River Yamaha team, Martin missed the Supercross series due to injury. He returned to race the 250 Nationals, finishing tenth overall at Southwick and 19th in the standings.
2012. Again with the Eleven10 Mods team, Alex climbed the ladder and scored ninth overall in the 250 East Supercross series. He finished seventh overall at the Southwick National, and matched that year-best at Steel City.
2011. Signed by the Eleven10 Mods team for 2011, Martin finished 14th overall in the 250 East Supercross series and ninth overall in the 250 Nationals.
2010. Earning National #50, Alex again competed as a privateer. Racing select rounds in the 250 East Supercross series, he finished 12th at the grueling Daytona round. Martin raced nine of the 12-round 250 National series and finished 10th at Millville.
2009. As a privateer, Alex raced select 250 West Supercross rounds on a Honda CRF250. He contested the entire 250 National series, placing a season-best 11th overall at his home race in Millville.
2008. Martin fittingly turned Pro at his hometown National at Spring Creek on August 17, 2008. Racing as a privateer, Martin finished 20th overall. He also raced the Steel City National (30th overall).
