Glenn Hobson joined JGRMX in 2016 as Weston Peick’s tuner. Hobson brings a decade of factory team tuning experience with him. Glenn was with the Geico Honda team from 2010 through 2015, before making the transition to JGRMX. While there, he spun wrenches for Blake Wharton, Jimmy Decotis, Zach Bell, and R.J. Hampshire. During the 2008 and 2009 racing seasons Hobson performed the tuning duties for Dusty Klatt and Paul Carpenter with the Cernics Kawasaki 450 team. Prior to that, he spent two seasons with Star Racing Yamaha working with Sean Collier and again with Klatt.
Before Hobson began working on the pro tour he graduated from the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Orlando, Fla. After graduating he spent two years as a mechanic at a dealership in Woodbridge, Va.
Growing up, Hobson raced motocross as an amateur in AMA District seven. He enjoys both road and mountain cycling, as well as wood and metal fabrication. He and his wife Megan reside in Huntersville, N.C. near the JGRMX race shop and practice facility.
