HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (March 23, 2014) – Round 12 of the 2014 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship was held at the only international stop of the series, Rogers Centre in Toronto, On. The first race held at the venue was in 2004, and the event has steadily grown in popularity with the Canadian fans ever since. 48,892 fans were at the stadium. Fox Sports One broadcast the action live. Unfortunately Josh Grant came down with a severe case of food poisoning. He was hoping to make it out to one of the later timed qualifiers but due to the dehydration was unable to ride. Justin Brayton qualified directly to the main event from heat race two. Brayton began the main at the front of the field in third place. He held the podium position for the first third of the race before being relegated back to fifth at approximately the halfway point. During the final laps he rallied to retake fourth and claim his sixth top-five finish of the season. Justin Brayton is one of only three riders to have finished in the top-10 at each round, and one of only eight riders to have led laps this season. He is fifth in championship points with five races left. The Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Mo. will be the site for round 13 of the 17-race series. Fox Sports One will broadcast the action live starting at 8:30 p.m. (EST). Timed qualifying will stream live on supercrossonline.com beginning at 3:00 p.m. (EST). Episode four of the Supercross, Behind the Dream series will air March 30 on CBS at noon, (EST).
